Ingredients

25-30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 100 gmschana daal
  2. 100 gmsYellow mung dal
  3. 100 gmsgreen mung dal
  4. 3Tomato pureed
  5. 2Medium sized onions
  6. 1Green chilli
  7. as required Fresh coriander
  8. as per taste salt
  9. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  10. 1/2 teaspoongaram masala powder
  11. 2 teaspoonsLemon juice
  12. 2-3 tablespoonsOil for cooking
  13. 2 teaspoonsGinger garlic paste

Cooking Instructions

25-30 minutes

    First of all, take all three dals wash and soak for 45 mins. Take a pressure cooker heat 2-3 tablespoons oil, add ginger garlic paste and then add finely chopped onion.

    Cook it until golden brown now add tomato puree (add the green chilli while making tomato puree) and turmeric powder salt and garam masala powder and let it cook on low flame for few minutes.

    Now strain and add the soaked dals mix well and cook for few minutes. Then add 250 ml water and salt mix well and pressure cook upto 3 - 4 whistles.

    Garnish with coriander leaves and add lemon juice before serving. Serve with rice or roti as desired.
