Dal Tadka (Goan style)

First wash and soak red lentils for 40 min. Then take a cooker add red lentils, salt, water and cook till come a boil. Then remove the impurities.

Then add onion, tomato, ginger, green chilli, turmeric powder and asafoetida.

Then take 5 whistles.Then take a pan heat oil add cumin seeds, asafoetida dry red chilli, curry leaves, garlic saute well.

Then mix dal in tadka and seasoning with salt, sugar and black pepper powder.

Then garnish with coriander leaves.Goan style dal is ready to serve.
