So juicy, tender and flavorful, Bulgogi, or Korean marinated beef slices, is one of the most popular dishes in Korean restaurants. Often eaten with rice, it, however, can also be paired with salads or used in sandwiches. Simply delicious!
Cooking Instructions

In a large Ziploc bag, combine the meat, onion, Korean BBQ sauce and ginger and mix well. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Line the fryer basket with grill mat or a sheet of lightly greased aluminum foil.

Spread the beef out inside the basket as much as possible and air fry at 380F (190C) for 8-10 minutes, stir once in the middle, until the the meat is cooked through.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onion to serve.

Here's my own bulgogi recipe. Any thinly sliced cut of beef can be used (this time I used brisket/short plate), and the recipe works with pork or even chicken. Korean nashi pears have a flavour that is kinda halfway between a regular pear and an apple so an apple like a red gala can be a reasonable substitute. It's used to tenderise the meat, but it takes time to work... I initially tried to cook it after only one hour and the meat was still quite tough.
