In a small bowl, add a tablespoon of milk and kesar strands and keep it aside.

Now in a kadhai, mix the milk and carrots together and on a low flame slowly bring them to a boil. To add some crunch dry roast the nuts and add it to the recipe.

After a boil in the milk, add in the kesar flakes and boil it again till the milk dries up. Once the milk is dried up, add the condensed milk and stir occasionally till it also dries up. Then add the ghee and cook for another 10 minutes.

Roll out the dough, add the halwa, brush with water.cover with another sheet, dock with a fork. seal the edges, brush with butter and bake at 180° for 15 minutes. Gajar halwa puff is now ready to serve.
