Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raw rice
  • 4 spoonsUrad Dal
  • 4 spoonsBoiled rice
  • 1 SpoonVendhayam/fenugreek
  • 4 spoons Coconut flakes
  • 1/4 spoonDry Ginger
  • 1/4 spoon Elachi powder
  • as requiredoil
  • 1/2 cupJaggery

Steps

  1. 1

    Take Raw rice, boiled rice, Urad Dal and vendhayam, wash it thoroughly and soak them in water for 3 hours. Drain the water from the mixture and make it into a thick batter.

    Take batter and add ground jaggery powder, elachi powder, dry ginger powder, coconut flakes. Mix it thoroughly and leave it for 1 hour.

  3. 3

    Now take Paniyaram kadhai and add oil to fry the batter both sides in medium flame to make it into paniyaram.

    Now paniyaram is ready.
