Irish soda bread

This is a very quick bread in which Sodium bicarbonate is used a leaving agent instead of the traditional yeast I prefer mine with no raisins or caraway seeds.. feel free to add either or both of them #celebrate2k #2k followers on cookpad_za

Steps
- 1
A picture of the ingredients.. NB baking powder was not used
- 2
In my case I used a casa bread maker for convenience sake since it kneads and make the bread more quicker than anything.. you are welcome to knead and use a cake pan/bread pan and bake at 180°C for roughly 20/30 minutes
- 3
Set program to quick (option 4) and set crust to slightly medium or light and bake for 12 minutes
- 4
One done remove pan and set to rest
- 5
Slice and ready to serve
