Rinse the chicken wings and trim them neatly. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the chicken wings. Boil for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, slice the chili peppers and remove the seeds. In a bowl, mix the sugar and fish sauce until well combined.

Once the chicken wings are boiled, arrange them on a tray and cook in an air fryer oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 15 minutes, until golden. This method reduces the fat from the chicken skin for a healthier result.

Heat a pan and sauté garlic until fragrant. Pour in the fish sauce and sugar mixture and bring to a boil. Add the chicken wings and toss well to coat. Cook for a few minutes to let the flavors absorb, then turn off the heat.
