I've always been one for traditional cultural classics. I've been making this recipe since I was a kid with different variations depending on what ingredients I have. It is so simple yet SO DELICIOUS!! Hope you enjoy :)

I've always been one for traditional cultural classics. I've been making this recipe since I was a kid with different variations depending on what ingredients I have. It is so simple yet SO DELICIOUS!! Hope you enjoy :)

Ingredients

  1. 3 1/2 cupsall purpose flour
  2. 1/4-1/2 cupraisins
  3. 1 tspbaking soda
  4. 1 teaspoonsea salt
  5. 1 1/2 cupsbuttermilk

Cooking Instructions

    Add all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix together

  2. 2

    Add buttermilk and raisins. (you can use any dried fruit you'd like or add some yummy seeds) :)

    Mix together all ingredients, than on a floured surface start needing your bread

  4. 4

    Once bread is fully kneaded place on a greased cookie sheet, and slice an X in the top. I then like to graze it with honey as well :)

    Bake at 425 for 35 - 40 minutes
