This is the brown vermicelli available at local groceries alhamdulillah.melt the butter in olive oil mix.

Break down vermicelli into the sizzling butter and oil.fry by stiring constantly.until changes colour.not to burn as easily burns if left long without stir.once change colour.pour out excess oil through metal sieve wire away from the hob. Be careful with the hot oil and pan

Put back on the hob and add the brown suger then add the cup of water...it will sizzle sound and steam..Be careful..then cover and let simmer under low heat until water dries and vermicelli are soft and fluffy...add little more butter if prefer

Once start ti stick to base of pan stur and then plate in serving dish.bismillah and enjoy...can add raisins or nuts and can use some dairy milk or coconut milk instead of water..but here used just plain water!enjoy bismillah
