Ingredients

30 minutes

  • ForRoasting ladies finger / okra-
  • 1 bowlCut okra and roast with salt till the stickiness is gone
  • ForMasala-
  • as requiredOil
  • 3-4onion
  • 3-4garlic cloves
  • 1small ginger
  • 1cinnamon and cloves
  • 1 tspheap dhaniya powder
  • 2 tspchilli powder/sambar powder
  • 2 tbspcoconut
  • Forgarnish-
  • 1/4onion
  • 1tomato
  • 1 bowlRoasted ladies finger/okra
  • As required enough water for curry
  • As per taste tamarind pulp
  • As per taste salt

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Cut okra and roast with salt till the stickiness is gone.

  2. 2

    For masala, add oil in a kadhai, fry onion, ginger, garlic, cinnamon, cloves, dhania powder, sambar/red chilli powder and turmeric and cook it till the raw taste of ingredients are gone.

  3. 3

    Grind the mix along with coconut to a coarse paste.

  4. 4

    Now in the same kadhai add oil and fry some onion, add 1 tomatoes cook till it is mushy, now add the prepared masala paste and cook till leaves on the sides. Add okra/ladies finger and add water with tamarind pulp water.

  5. 5

    Put the curry on sim and cover the lid so the okra cooks.

  6. 6

    Add coriander and you are done.
