Shahi kheer

When a girl gets married everything changes for her, a new life, a new home and a new set of responsibilities. A lot is expected from her, starting from taking care of the house to cooking and way beyond. I’m an average cook because I’m a doctor never had the time to master the art of Cooking. But surprisingly my husband cooks really well, and I knew that so I was sure that we will manage.
When I had to cook for the very first time after getting married. My mother in law asked me to make some KHEER according to the tradition. I was not ready for that, but my husband came to rescue me, He then texted me a list of ingredients, which I told my brother in law to get. After we got the Ingredients my husband led me to the kitchen and told everyone to leave me alone there.
He then went to our room and connected with me on a video call. He helped me prepare the Finest Kheer in Minutes and he guided me to garnish it as well. We were expecting a few guests that evening on dinner and when I presented Kheer after the meal, everybody loved it, so much so that my father in law gave me two thousand rupees as a reward. And while I was taking that prize money I could see the smile on my husbands face who was sitting right next to me. He leaned forward and whispered in my ear “Where are you taking me for Dinner tomorrow”.
