Ingredients

50 minutes
2 Servings
  • 1 litremilk
  • 1 1/2 cupsugar
  • 2 spoonsmaida
  • 5 spoonssooji
  • 1lemon juice
  • 3-4cashew chopped
  • 3-4cardamom crushed
  • 4-5kishmis chopped
  • 1 tsp Soda bi carbonate
  • as requiredGhee

Steps

    Take a heavy bottom pan and add milk to it. Now boil milk.

    When milk getting boil then add lemon juice in batches by stirring milk to curdle milk.

    Now strain curdled milk in cloth and Pour water to remove lemon smell from it. Keep for some time so excess water drains from it.

    Now chhena is ready to use. Take in a bowl and knead it well to make it soft. Now divide it in parts.

    In one part add sooji,5 spoons sugar,1 spoon ghee,chopped cashew and kishmish, crushed cardamom and mix well.

    Now add little water and mix well to make batter consistancy like cake bater.

    Now pour bater in tin and bake in preheated cooker for 40 minutes.After 40 minutes take out chhena cake/ chhena poda and cool it at room temperature.

    For making rasgulla Now take another part of chhena and knead well till it becomes smooth. Now make small balls from it.

    For making Gulab Jamun take chhena and add maida,1 spoon sooji, soda bi carbonate and mix well. Now add ghee and knead well.

    Make small balls from the dough and fry in ghee till brown in colour.

    For making sugar syrup take a pan add 1 cup sugar and 1¼ cup water. Boil for making sugar syrup.Now add cardamom with skin to it.

    Add rasgulla and Gulab Jamun to sugar syrup for soaking sugar syrup.They get doubled in size.

    For serving - Take a Serving platter then put chhena poda then arrange rasgulla and half Gulab Jamuns on it

    Now serve this chhena 3.0 and enjoy.
