Wash strawberries and purée in a food processor. Take a slice of bread or a bun and make fine crumbs.

In a wide non stick pan add the strawberry purée and cook on medium heat. Once it starts boiling add the sugar and bread crumbs and cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Add the ghee, milk powder and almond powder and mix well. Keep on stirring. Once the ghee separates and it forms a dough turn off the gas. Transfer in a greased proof tray to set if you want to make squares or transfer in a plate to cool. After 10 minutes use a mould to make barfi and decorate to your taste.
