Steps

Peel your potatoes and scóre them with knife,soak them in your spices add 1tsp water and mix till fully coated.place them aside as you prepare your other ingredients.

Cut onions,heat your vegetable oil and fry alittle together with crushed garlic and ginger,stir in the pilau masala let it cook.Finally add your potatoes and stir again let it cook for some minutes

Pour your prewashed rice too and stir.let it cook to blend with the spices.Now add your peas,salt and water.Cover let it cook.

Turn heat low to let the rice dry alittle and cook well.After awhile your rice is well cooked.serve with kachumbari and enjoy with your preferred drink.
