Neem Flowers Vada

The onset of summer brings blossom in neem trees as white sweet aromat flowers. As known, neem flowers and leaves have that magical power to cure wounds and diseases. It's believed that, neem oil also cures skin diseases and even used as mosquito repellent.
In this recipe fresh neem buds and flowers from my village home garden are used to make delicious and heathy Vada , with other ingredients.
Neem Flowers Vada

In this recipe fresh neem buds and flowers from my village home garden are used to make delicious and heathy Vada , with other ingredients.
Steps

Clean, wash thoroughly the neem buds and flowers. Boil the potatoes. Remove the skin and mash them.

In a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredient, except rice flour and cooking oil.
Mix well to get a dough. Make lemon size balls out of the dough. Flat each ball on the palm.

Dust rice flour on both the sides of the prepared neem vada. Shallow fry both the sides of vada in hot oil on medium flame. Serve as side dish in main course.

Notes:-
* Lemon juice and sugar help in reducing the bitterness of neem.
** Besan and potato help in binding while rice flour brings crispiness.
