Ingredients

  1. as requiredLeft over mutton pieces
  2. 1 cupgreen moong dal
  3. 1/2 cupchana dal
  4. 1chopped onion
  5. 1chopped tomato
  6. 1 teaspoonginger garlic paste
  7. as per tasteSalt
  8. 1 tspTurmeric powder
  9. 1 teaspoonblack pepper powder
  10. 1 teaspooncumin powder
  11. 1 teaspoondhaniya powder
  12. 1 teaspoonwhole Garam masala(elaichi, laung, dalchini, jeera)

Cooking Instructions

    Soak both the dal and boil them. Keep aside. In a kadhai add refined oil and as it heats up add the whole garam masalas. Let them crackle add the onions, fry them till red. Add the tomatoes, let them melt, add the ginger garlic paste. Cook.

    Add the turmeric powder, salt and mix them well. Add the dry powders- cumin, coriander and black pepper. Add the leftover mutton.

    Cook well and cover till the mash of the two is perfect. Serve hot with roti.
