Ingredients

5 servings
  1. For the marinade
  2. 1 kgchicken cut into small pieces
  3. 200 gyoghurt
  4. 1.5 tspchilli powder
  5. 4 tbspcoriander powder
  6. 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  7. 1 tspsalt
  8. For the curry
  9. 1large white onion sliced
  10. 4 cmginger grated
  11. 5 clovesgarlic crushed
  12. 5green chillies chopped
  13. 2medium tomatoes small cubes
  14. 4 tbspcoriander leaves chopped
  15. 1.5 tbspcumin seeds
  16. 3 tspGaram masala
  17. 1spray calorie oil

Steps

    Marinate all the ingredients of the marinade and leave minimum 2 hours. Best overnight

  2. 2

    On the day of cooking....first heat the pan. Spray 5 sprays of 1 calorie spray oil

  3. 3

    Add chilli, ginger, garlic, coriander and stir for 3-4 minutes

  4. 4

    Add the sliced onion and add the cumin seeds. Cook for 10 minutes

  5. 5

    Add the tomatoes. Cook for 3 minutes

  6. 6

    Add 200ml water and let it simmer for 2 minutes

  7. 7

    Add the chicken and then add another 200ml water ensuring the chicken is fully covered

  8. 8

    Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes with a lid on

  9. 9

    Add garam masala by sprinkling on top and leave to cook for 5 minutes with lid on

  10. 10

    Garnish with coriander leaves. And ready to serve!
