My grandma makes the best spaghetti and meatballs but it is from a box and a jar, so I made this recipe at my house and brought some Over to her house and I haven’t seen her make spaghetti ever since. :(

Ingredients

Meatballs
1 lb.beef chuck 80-20 beef
1 lb.pork sausage
1/2Spanish onion
1 clovegarlic
1/4 c.panko
1/8 c.Italian bread crumbs
1egg
1/4 c.grated parmesan cheese
2 leavesbasil

Sauce
1/2Spanish onion
1 clovegarlic
1/2grated carrot
1 canwhole peeled tomatoes
1 tsp.sugar
Parmesan rind
Spaghetti
Fresh Bucatini Pasta
Salt

Steps

For meatballs, add beef, sausage, panko, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan, basil, salt and pepper.

In a pan add oil and add the diced onion and garlic, let loose for 1:30. Add to meatballs. Mix meatballs.

For sauce, use the other half of the Spanish onion and garlic, grate carrot and add canned whole tomatoes, and sugar, simmer in the pan until it becomes a sauce consistency.

Put water on the boil and add salt. The water should taste like the ocean. Add spaghetti and immediately. Cook until al dente. Drain pasta and assemble.
