Creamy garlic pasta

Ingredients

  1. 8 teaspoonsminced garlic
  2. 1onion
  3. 250 gpasta
  4. 500 mlmilk
  5. 5 tbsrice wine
  6. Almonds
  7. 1vegetable stock cube

Cooking Instructions

    Dice an onion and prepare 8tsp garlic

  2. 2

    Combine 1.5 cup of water with half a cup of milk. Mix in some salt and pepper, juice of 1/4 lemon and 5tbs of soju or rice wine

  3. 3

    In a large pan, stir fry onion, garlic and almond slices with some olive oil until aromatic. Add 1 vegetable stock cube and break apart.

    Add milk sauce from earlier and allow to boil

  5. 5

    Add pasta (linguini or angel hair) and cook for recommended time on packet. You may have to add more milk as the sauce evaporates.

    Once pasta is cooked, check the taste. You can add 1tsp sugar if needed. Adjust thickness by adding more milk and allowing to evaporate, or leaving it be.

    To finish, add garlic and chilli flakes (optional)

    Serve with rocket and spinach leaves, and sliced almonds
