Ingredients

serves 2 servings
  • 4 tbsptikka curry powder
  • 2skinless,boneless chicken breast diced
  • 1onion diced
  • tspgarlic granules
  • tspground ginger
  • Pinchchilli flakes
  • tspcinnamon
  • tspcumin
  • 3 tsptomato puree
  • 3 tbspGreek style yoghurt
  • tsplime juice
  • 75 gfat free natural yoghurt

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix lime,natural yoghurt and 2 tbsp curry powder in a bowl,add the chicken and mix well,store in the fridge for at least 4 hours

  2. 2

    Heat a large pan with oil,add onion garlic,ginger,chilli,cinnamon cumin and remaining tikka powder,and fry for 2/3 mins,stir in tomato puree and 250ml water,bring to the boil and then simmer for about 15 mins

  3. 3

    Heat another pan and cook the chicken adding the sauce from the bowl

  4. 4

    When the chicken is cooked add to the sauce,take off the heat and add the Greek yoghurt

  5. 5

    Scatter with coriander and serve with rice
