This is a very handy recipe for different types of dishes. And the best part is that it can be stored for a long time without any problem. I always try to make it in large quantities and relish it not only in Chaats, Raita, Pani Puris but also enjoy this as an accompaniment to Boiled Rice and Khatti Daal at mealtimes. It tastes awesome. My children loves it that way.

Make a smooth but stiff dough. Care should be taken while adding water. It should be added little by little. If the dough sticks to your hand and you are not able to handle it, apply some oil to your hands.

Apply some oil inside the sev making machine too. Deep fry by releasing the sev into the hot oil by going round in a clockwise motion.

Serve hot as it is with tea or coffee or can be stored in an air-tight container after it has cooled down and use it in any of your favourite Chaat. Enjoy!
