Ingredients

  • 3 cupsflour
  • 4 tablespoonssugar
  • 1 tablespoonyeast
  • 1 teaspoonsalt
  • 1/2 cupmilk
  • 3 tablespoonsmargarine(1 tablespoon will be used in the cocoa)
  • 2Eggs(1 egg for egg washing)
  • 2 tablespooncocoa powder
  • Cummin seeds or sesame(optional)

Steps

  1. 1

    Measure all your ingredients.Pre heat your oven and Grease your baking tin.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, add flour +sugar+yeast+salt,mix everything together.

  3. 3

    Add a bit of milk, start kneading then add the one egg knead well,add milk and continue kneading, once the dough is ready and firm.

  4. 4

    Divide the dough into 2, one dough set it aside in a warm place and let it double in size,the other dough,add cocoa powder and margarine. Mix well and you knead it.

  5. 5

    Once it is ready, also let it double in size in a warm place.

  6. 6

    Now both of dough are ready, take the plain dough roll it out into a circle,also do the same do the other dough.

  7. 7

    Now place you plain dough then place the other dough,ensure that they are the same size, roll it upwards.

  8. 8

    Place it in the baking tin,egg wash it,sprinkle the seeds then let it double in size for 15 mins.

    Bake for 25 mins at 160 degrees.once ready, serve with your favourite tea.
