Ingredients

  • Chicken_Shami_Kabab:
  • Halfkg Chicken boneless
  • 150 gChickpeas (washed & soaked)
  • Salt as your taste
  • 2 tbspGinger garlic paste
  • 12-15Button whole chilies
  • Garam Masala Powder (Cinnamon stick 2, Black Cardamom 2, Green Cardamom 8, White cumin seed 1 tbsp., Whole coriander seed 1 tbsp, Black pepper 1 tsp, cloves 10)
  • 3 glassesWater
  • 3Bread
  • 2Egg (Beaten)
  • Oil for frying
  • Rice Ingredients:
  • 5-6 tbspOil
  • 2Bay Leaf
  • 2Cinnamon Stick
  • 5-6Clove
  • 1Black Cardamom
  • 5Green Cardamom
  • Halftsp White Cumin seed
  • 1 kgBasmati Rice (Washed)
  • Salt as your taste
  • 4 glassesWater
  • Coriander Leaves for garnish
  • DAAL Ingredients:
  • Oil half cup
  • 2Onion (sliced)
  • 2 tbspGinger garlic paste
  • Halftsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt as your taste
  • 3 tspRed chilli powder
  • 1 tbspGaram Masala
  • 3 tspCoriander Powder
  • 125 gBengal gram lentils
  • 125 gYellow split lentils (Moong Dal)
  • 125 gRed split lentils (Masoor Dal)
  • 6 glassesWater
  • 1 cupBoiled Chicken (shredded)

Steps

    Chicken_Shami_Kabab: Take a pot add Chicken boneless, Chickpeas, Salt, Ginger garlic paste, whole button red chilies,Garam Masala powder & water, Close the lid to cook.

    Cook until all the water has evaporated and chicken is tendered. Let it cool for some time and then grind all the ingredients to a thick paste. In the paste add the raw eggs liquid and mix thoroughly.

    Using your palm make the kebabs of any desired shape and size, generally flat round shape.

  4. 4

    Now shallow fry the kebabs from both sides till golden brown. You can serve the kebabs hot with chutney of your choice.

    Rice: Take a pot add oil, Bay Leaf, Cinnamon Stick, Clove, Black Cardamom, Green Cardamom & White Cumin seed, Fry it 30 sec till aroma start come.

    Then add Basmati Rice, Salt & Water. Close the lid till water get dry & rice cooked completely. Garnish with Coriander Leaves.

    DAAL: In a wok add oil heat and fry onion, till onion saute.Now add ginger garlic paste & turmeric powder, Cook till raw aroma goes.

    Now add all spices, salt, red chilli powder, garam masala and coriander powder, cook it until oil comes up (Add water if required to cook spices).

    Add all lentils & pour 6 glass water, mix it & cover it to cook till come to boil then cook 30 minutes on slow flame.

  10. 10

    After this grind all lentils with the wooden hand masher then add shredded boiled chicken. Cook more 5 mins at low flame.

    Finally serve hot. Garnish with fry Whole button chilies. Serve with rice.
