Neyappam
A traditional Kerala snack
Steps

Wash and soak the raw rice in water for about 6 hours or overnight.

Molten the jaggery in 1/2 cup of water.

In a blender, blend together the soaked rice, two heaped spoons of wheat flour, molten jaggery flakes, sliced bananas, cardamom and baking soda.

Add sesame to this. Keep it for 20-30 minutes.

Pour ghee in a hot deep pan and pour two tablespoons of batter to this hot oil. Let it cook for one minute and then flip to the other side carefully. Repeat the same!!! Neiappams are done.
