Sauté the rice in the bacon drippings, till rice turns white. Pour in the water and salt. Bring to a boil, and boil 3 minutes.

Add the peas and carrots. Cook till the craters appear turn off heat and let rest covered for 15 minutes undisturbed.

Rice should be done. Stir in the bacon sauce. Cook stirring constantly till the sauce is incorporated well. Serve I hope you enjoy!!!!!
