Ingredients

4 servings
  1. ForPakoda:------
  2. 2 cupsonion chopped
  3. 1 cupGram flour
  4. 1 tablespoonrice flour
  5. as per tastesalt
  6. 1 tablespoonsgreen chillies, ginger and garlic paste
  7. 1 teaspoonwhole coriander
  8. 1/2 tea spooncumin seeds
  9. 1/4 tea spoonturmeric powder
  10. as requiredOil for frying
  11. For Gravy:---------
  12. 2onions finely chopped
  13. 1 Tablespoonginger-garlic paste
  14. 2green chillies finely chopped
  15. 2tomatoes finely chopped
  16. 1 teaspoonturmeric powder
  17. 1 teaspoongaram masala powder
  18. 1 teaspoonred chilli powder
  19. 1 teaspoondhaniya pawder
  20. 1 teaspooncumin seeds
  21. as per tasteSalt
  22. 2 tablespoonsOil

Steps

  1. 1

    For making pakoda:---------- Mix all ingredients except oil. Mix everything well to coat the onion with flour. Add some water as required.

    Heat oil in a pan or frying pan to deep fry the pakoras. Take a small amount of mixture and make small pakoras and add it to the oil.

    Fry them till they become golden. keep it aside.

    For Gravy:---------- Place the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add cumin, ginger-garlic paste, green chillies and onions and fry them.

    Add turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and salt and mix it.

    Add tomatoes and fry them continuously till they become soft.

    Mix with water and cook covered for five minutes. Garnish with coriander.

    Onion Pakoda gravy Sabji is ready. Serve hot with rice or paratha.
