Chana dal phulori/ bhajiya

Rinse chana dal thoroughly with water and soak chana dal. overnight in enough water. Afterwards rinse off again and drain excess water. Grind it to smooth paste without adding water.

Add the ingredients except for oil. Beat the mixture as much as you can. This will make the phulori fluffy.

Heat oil in a wok and when oil is sufficiently heated drop a small portion of mixture rolling through your fingers making a ball shape. Put the flame to low. Remain undisturbed for 2-3 minutes. Afterward gently flip the sides and stir continuously until golden brown. Remove on kitchen towel.

Serve immediately with green/imli chutney.
