A simple humble kheer with less ingredients , you can make any time to sweeten up your Purnima Pooja, or otherwise also for a perfect dessert post meals.

Heat milk in a thick bottom wok.

Soak the rice for at least half hour and then grind it in a blender to smaller particles with little water or milk.

Let the milk boil and then simmer for sometime. Take 2 tbsp hot milk and disk saffron strands in it.

Add the grinder rice to the milk and let it simmer on low flame.

Add cardamom powder and saffron milk and mix well.

When the rice is soft and cooked and the kheer is thick also, add condensed milk to the kheer and mix well.

Let it simmer for couple minutes and then switch off the gas. Serve hot or cold with some chopped nuts.
