Simple-Soft Dal Khichadi

Take rice and dal in a bowl. Wash it thoroughly. Soak for 5 mins in 2 glasses of water.

Meanwhile, take a cooker add 2 glasses of water. Put on high flame. Add salt and turmeric water. Get water boiled. Now add rice and dal with soak water.

If required add more water. Mix it well. Close the lid of the cooker. Get 3 whistles. Let the cooker cool completely.

Khichadi is ready to serve. I served with Gujarati Kadhi and salad.
