Ingredients

  1. 6 cupBasmati Rice (rinse carefully and soak for 15 minutes)
  2. 3 lbsyoung chicken (cut into 10)
  3. 6 tbspbutter
  4. 1brown onion (thinly sliced)
  5. Marinating seasoning
  6. 500 mLcoconut milk
  7. 1 tbspturmeric
  8. 3 tbspchilli powder
  9. 3big shallots (thinly sliced and fried)
  10. 2 tspsalt
  11. 750 mLchicken broth
  12. 250 mLwater
  13. 2 tbspginger powder
  14. 10garlic (crushed)
  15. 1 tsplemon juice
  16. 3 tbspcurry powder
  17. Adding seasoning
  18. 4cloves
  19. 1 tspstar anise
  20. 1cinnamon
  21. 1 tbspbay leaves
  22. 2 tbspmint leaves

Cooking Instructions

    Mix all the marinating seasoning. Add chicken, keep marinated in the fridge for 30 minutes.

    Sautee brown onion with butter until its soft, then add the chicken with all the marinating seasoning.

    Shimmer until 70% volume and chicken is cooked.

    Put basmati rice in the rice cooker pot, then add chicken with all the stocks.

    After its cooked, take out the chicken and deep fry it.

    Cook the rice again until its dry.
