Ingredients

3 servings
  • ForDal stuffing-
  • 1 cuptoor dal
  • 1/2 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 cupsugar
  • 1/2 tspcardamom powder
  • 1/2 tspnutmeg powder
  • 2 tbspghee for smearing
  • 1 cupmaida
  • 1 tspghee
  • Pinchyellow food colour optional
  • 1 tbspoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Take 1 cup maida in bowl add 1/2 tsp ghee and little warm water to knead the dough. Add required water and knead the smooth dough. Cover the dough and rest for 15 mins in room temperature.

    After 15 mins grease hand with oil and knead the dough. And make equal balls of rolling paratha.

  3. 3

    For dal stuffing. Wash and soak dal for 30 mins after 30 mins boil it in pressure cooker upto 3 whistle.once pressure cools down drain water and keep aside.

  4. 4

    Now blend dal in mixer or mash dal using masher. now heat non stick pan add dal stuff and saute continuously without sticking add jaifal elachi powder and saute add tbsp ghee and saute and mix everything to a smooth texture.

  5. 5

    Stir continuously and cook until it becomes thick
