Arai keerai kadayal

Keerai(Green leafy vegetable) are packed with lot of nutrients. It is good to add greens in your diet atleast 2 to 3 times in a week.
Arai keerai is my favorite keerai and I love to eat by mixing this keerai Kadayal with white rice and topped with some Ghee. There is no more authentic taste than this.

Steps

Pick the leaves from the bunch and clean them completely. (The keerai bunch have lots of mud and dirt so it's important to clean the picked leaves in the water at least 3 times before cooking)

Heat oil in a kadai and add in the cumin seeds, onion, garlic pods and green chilies and saute for a minute.

Further add the keerai and salt. Stir until the keerai is cooked soft.

Let it cool completely and blend everything smoothly.

Check for salt and top it with some ghee for extra taste and flavor. Arai keerai Kadayal is ready to serve. Enjoy with hot Rice.
