Ingredients

2 pies
  1. 3 lbsmedium ground beef
  2. 2large onions
  3. 4 stalkscelery
  4. 4potatoes
  5. 1 cupbeef broth
  6. 1 tspcinnamon
  7. 1 tspnutmeg
  8. 1 tspallspice
  9. 1 tspdry mustard
  10. 1 tspsalt
  11. 1 tsppepper
  12. 1/2 tspcesar rimmer
  13. 1 tspsugar
  14. 1/2 tspChinese 5 spice
  15. 1 tspsage
  16. 1 tspthyme
  17. 1 tspmint
  18. 1 tspginger
  19. 1 tbspmaggi
  20. 2pie shells
  21. 6 tbspbutter
  22. 1 tbspminced garlic

Cooking Instructions

    Simmer onions in butter till starting to colour

  2. 2

    Add garlic and celery mix well.

    Add all spices

  4. 4

    Add meat break apart.

  5. 5

    Boil potatoes to make mash

  6. 6

    Add 1 cup potato water and 1 cup beef broth to meat mix. Simmer 1 hour.

    Mash potatoes adding nothing to them

  8. 8

    Drain meat then put in mixing bowl with mashed potatoes. Mix well. Let cool.

    Add meat and potato mixture to pie shells. Cover with pie crust topping leaving a vent for moisture to escape. Cut out a heart. Lol

    Glaze with egg wash. And cook in oven 350° for 50 minutes.
