Steam suji/rava vegetable balls are made by stuffing dry mix healthy vegetables with spices into rava dough and then cooked by steaming. This is also called as suji ka pittha with aloo masala.
Suji is high in protein, very high in complex carbohydrates and fairly high in potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium and fiber, with some iron, zinc, manganese and copper
Being a low-fat, high carbohydrate food, it offers a lot of energy for active and energetic people.
This is again a healthy breakfast or can be consumed as a snack with tea. You can pack in your lunch too. Moreover, kids also love to eat this when served with green chutney.

Method to make rava dough- Boil 1.5 cup water in a kadahi, add rava in kadahi, keep stiring on low flame for 2-3 minutes, add salt, ajwain and mangraila on top and let it cool.
Knead it well adding warm water gradually to make a soft dough.
Divide it into 10 equal round shape balls - 2
To make fillings: heat oil in a kadahi, add cumin seeds and let it crackle.Add chopped potatoes, cauliflower, carrtot, and beans. Mix well and cook covered for 4-5 minutes on low flame stirring in between. Remove the lid, add peas, ginger, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Cook covered for 3 minutes on medium flame. Remove the lid and stir fry for 2 minutes. Mash a little with the help of spoon and add all dry spices. Mix well adding chopped coriander leaves and chopped chillies.

Method to make steam balls- Fill the mix veg prepared into rava dough one by one by making the dough and pack it tightly making in ball shape. Boil water in a kadahi and add the stuffed balls into it. Keep an eye over it, as soon as you see the balls start coming up and grows in size (usually take 3-4 minutes) take it out with the help of strainer.
Let it become warm and serve with green chutney or pickle of your choice.
