Steps
- 1
Peel banana, cut into small pieces and then put into a blender. Add in sugar, 1 cup milk and blend to make a puree.
- 2
Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl. Add banana puree, coconut, fennel seeds, cardamom powder and salt. Then slowly add the remaining milk and mix till it reaches to a batter consistency.
- 3
Now heat a nonstick frying pan and grease it with ghee. Pour a ladleful of banana batter and move it in a circular motion to spread it evenly.
- 4
Keep the flame low and cover the chilla with a lid. Let it cook for 1-2 minutes till the bottom of the chilla turns brown.
- 5
Then flip it to the other side. Again cover and cook till the other side is browned. Repeat the process to make similar chillas with rest of the batter.
- 6
Relish the delicious and nutritious banana chilla.
