Ingredients

4-Serving
  1. 1/2 cupsuji/rava
  2. 1/2 cupMaize flour
  3. 1/2 cupSattu flour
  4. 1/4 cuppeanut powder
  5. 1 1/2 cup curd
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  8. 1 tspgrated garlic
  9. 2red or green chilli finely chopped
  10. 1 inch ginger grated
  11. 1 tspbaking soda or fruit salt
  12. 1 tspsesame seeds to sprinkle
  13. 1 tspred chilli powder to sprinkle
  14. For tempering
  15. 1 tspoil
  16. 1 tsprai(mustard seeds)
  17. 1 tspcumin seeds
  18. 1 tspsesame seeds
  19. 1/2 tsp asafoetida
  20. For Garnishing
  21. 1 tbspChopped coriander leaves
  22. 1red chilli chopped

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix suji, Maize flour, Sattu flour in a bowl and add curd,chopped chilli, ginger, garlic, peanut powder and salt as per taste in a bowl add water if needed and keep aside for 10-mins.

    Add baking soda and mix properly and pour the ready batter in a greased thali tap it and sprinkle red chilli powder and sesame seeds and steam it on high flame for 15-20 mins.

    When Dhokla thali is steamed completely take out and heat a kadai for tempering add oil,cumin,mustard, sesame when starts cracking add red chilli chopped and asafoetida and immediately pour on Dhokla with spoon all over.

    Give cut with knife and sprinkle chopped red chilli and chopped coriander. Serve hot Healthy Yummy, Delicious Dhokla in a Plate.
