#mango My sister in law made this seasonal chatpata mango recipe and I also tried. There are two versions one is instant and other one is sun dry. I did a mix of both. Do try it out.
Steps
- 1
Rinse the mangoes, dry wipe them and then grate it.
- 2
Take the grated mango into another container. Add the sugar. Mix it well. You will see mixture becoming liquidy.
- 3
Now add salt, haldi and red chilli powder as per given quantities. Now mix it well. Better the colour of the red chilli, more flavory the mixture looks.
- 4
Now we had kept this mixture in sun for almost two days. The sugar mix got little dried up and mixture became more solid.
- 5
On the third day, we took a kadhai and then added this mixture and let it cook on low flame for 5-10 minutes to avoid it becoming more hard.
- 6
Switch off the flame once it becomes more consistent. Now store the Chunda in glass container. Your spicy and sweet Chunda is ready to be consumed.enjoy
