Ingredients

4 servings
  • 250 gmatumbo- tripe
  • 2tomatoes blended
  • 2 clovegarlic
  • 1 teaspooncrushed ginger
  • 1 teaspooncinnamon
  • 1 teaspoonthyme
  • 2onions
  • 1 teaspoontomato paste
  • 1beef cube

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and Boil the matumbo till tender with garlic to kill the smell

  2. 2

    Drain the water.Fry the onion in oil till brown,then add ginger,tomatoes,cinnamon and thyme and fry for 2 minutes

  3. 3

    Add the matumbo together with the tomato paste and beef cube and the soup and simmer till ready
