Generally we make Bharwan Bhindi with besan spice blend, aachari stuffing or with simple spices blend. Today I have formulated a recipe that has lentil and peanuts blend with regular spices. It tastes yum and very easy to make. You can also store the lentil blend in refrigerator and use in future.

Generally we make Bharwan Bhindi with besan spice blend, aachari stuffing or with simple spices blend. Today I have formulated a recipe that has lentil and peanuts blend with regular spices. It tastes yum and very easy to make. You can also store the lentil blend in refrigerator and use in future.

Heat a pan. Add 1 tsp oil. Roast chana Dal and urad Dal until golden brown. Now add dry red chilli, peanuts, cumin and coriander seeds, garlic and roast it until aromatic. Turn off the gas once done.

Blend to a smooth powder once cool. Add in turmeric, red chilli powde, aamchur powder, garam masala and salt to taste. Mix well.

Wash and Pat dry bhindi. Cut crown and tip. Make a slit and stuff made powder.

Heat remaining oil in a same pan. Add mustard cumin seeds asafoetida and add stuffed bhindi. Cook on low flame. We don't won't it to be brown and overcooked. It should be cooked yet green. Serve hot with chapati. Our Bharwan Bhindi saag is ready.
