Sayadiyah Rice

Sayadiyah rice originated in Alexandria and was traditionally the food of fishermen. It is quite different from what we now call Sayadiyah rice. Peel the onions to remove the dry outer layers.

Cut the onions as shown.

Chop the onions into small pieces.

In a saucepan, add a small cup of oil and add the chopped onions.
