Alternative for the white wine is Apple Cider vinegar. I haven’t tried it, I’m not sure how many mL vinegar so just add according to taste. I didn’t put white wine and vinegar on my cooking because the children might not like the taste. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3-4 piecesSalmon fillet
  • 1 piecelemon, for marinade
  • 1 piecelemon, sliced for cream sauce
  • 4-5 clovesgarlic, chopped
  • Halfor 1 piece onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoonbutter
  • Baby spinach
  • 1 canNestle cream or heavy cream
  • 1/4 cupparmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cupdry white wine
  • Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Season the salmon with salt, pepper and squeeze lemon. Set aside for a while.

  2. 2

    Fry the salmon in any cooking oil that you desire. I used olive oil for mine.

  3. 3

    Once cooked, set them aside. Remove excess oil and use the same pan to make the sauce.

  4. 4

    Put butter on the pan, mix it with remaining olive oil. Saute onion and garlic.

  5. 5

    Add dry white wine. Lower the heat and add the cream. Mix well. In case sauce gets thick, just add a bit if water.

  6. 6

    Add the parmesan cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. Add the spinach and simmer for a while.

  7. 7

    Put back the fried salmon fillet.

  8. 8

    Lastly, put the lemon slices on top and side.

  9. 9

    It is best to squeeze the lemon on the fish before eating. Delicious!
