Assemble all your ingredients

Mix sugar and cooking oil, cream till soft

Add one egg at a time, then vanilla essence and lemon rind

Mix all the dry ingredients

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and fold in as you alternate with milk

Grease your baking sufuria

Put salt on a big sufuria and cover with a lid, preheat for 10minutes

Place your batter and put hot charcoal on top

Bake for 30-40minutes

Insert toothpick and if it comes out clean it means the cake is ready
