Ingredients

  1. 1 cupwhite sundal
  2. 1Large onion
  3. 2Tomato
  4. 1 tbspchilli powder
  5. Whole spices
  6. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. as neededOil
  9. 1/2 tsp garam masala
  10. 1 pinchsugar

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Soak the chanafor 5 hours. Add it to a pressure cook. With little salt. Cook for 5 whistles. Stain the chanaand keep. Aside

    In a pan add oil chopped onions and tomato. Cook well. Add chilli powder. Cook until transparent. Grind to smooth paste.

    Now heat oil in a pan. Add the whole spices and ginger garlic paste. Cook upto raw smell goes. Add the ground masala paste.

    Add water to adjust the consistency. Add salt to taste and garam masala.

  5. 5

    Now add the Boiled chanacook for 5 to 10 minutes. Add a pinch of salt as final touch. Yummy chanamasala is ready
