Ingredients

  • 8big potatoes, peeled and cut into even desired cubes
  • 1big sliced onion
  • 1Green bell pepper sliced
  • 2large tomatoes, grated
  • 1 (70 grams)satchet tomato paste
  • 1 bunchfresh dhania, chopped
  • Whole cinnamon sticks, cardamom and cloves, few pieces each
  • 1 teaspoonground curry powder, cumin powder
  • 1/4 teaspoonblack pepper
  • to tasteSalt
  • Cooking oil
  • Garlic crushed

Steps

30minutes
  1. 1

    Boil the potatoes to cook but not overcooked to mashy and set aside with its broth

  2. 2

    Heat oil in a separate pan

  3. 3

    Add the whole spices, cook for a few minutes

  4. 4

    Add in the onions and bell pepper and cook

  5. 5

    Once cooked, add in the crushed garlic and cook

  6. 6

    Then add in the grated tomatoes, cook for a few minutes and add in the paste and cook

  7. 7

    Add in the ground spieces and allow a few minutes to cook

  8. 8

    Add in the potatoes with its broth, if the broth is not enough you can add in hot water to your desired stew consistency

  9. 9

    Season accordingly, and simmer on low heat for few minutes

  10. 10

    Add in the fresh dhania, and put off heat

  11. 11

    Serve with naan bread, brown chapati...
