Duck Confit with Mashed Potatoes and Red Berry Sauce
A delicious and simple dish featuring mashed potatoes and duck confit. Perfect for a special occasion or any day.
Cooking Instructions

Start by preparing the mashed potatoes. Peel the potatoes and place them in a pot with the onions cut into large pieces and the leek sliced. Lightly salt, cover with water, and boil for about 20-25 minutes.

When the potatoes begin to fall apart, remove from heat and drain all the water. Transfer to a bowl and mash the ingredients with a fork.

Add the heavy cream, a pinch of salt, pepper to taste, nutmeg to taste, and mix everything well until you achieve a smooth and homogeneous puree. Set aside.

Place the duck confits on a baking sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake for about 15 minutes at 195°C (about 383°F), or until the skin is nicely browned.

To serve, place some mashed potatoes on each plate and top with the duck confit. Drizzle with the red berry sauce for savory dishes to taste and serve.
