  • 200 gmcooked rice
  • 1/4beetroot
  • to tasteSalt
  • 2 tspoil
  • 1 tspmustard seeds
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 pinchasafoetida
  • 1 tbspblack pepper powder
  • 1bay leaf
  • 1 inchCinnamon stick

  1. 1

    Grate the beetroot. Cool the cooked rice.

    Heat the pan and add oil to it. Add the whole masala items and saute. Add grated beetroot and sauté for 3-4 minutes with lid.

    Add cooked rice and mix thoroughly. Cook for 2 minutes with lid.
