Ingredients

7 servings
  • 250 gmsmoong daal
  • 1 ltrWater
  • 1.5 tbsSalt
  • 2 tbsPeprica powder
  • 3 tbsOil
  • 2 tbsoil for trka
  • 1onion
  • 2 tbsginger and green chilli paste
  • 2 tbsCumin powder
  • Green chilli and green coriander for garnishing
  • 1 kgRice
  • 1.5 ltrWater for boiling

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a pan.add oil when oil is hot then add onion.cook over low flame until brown in colour.

  2. 2

    Add ginger and green chilli paste.

  3. 3

    Add peprica powder, cumin powder, salt and cook over low flame for 5 minute.

  4. 4

    Add 1ltr water and add moong daal.cook over low flame for 40 minute.

  5. 5

    Moong daal is ready.

  6. 6

    Boil water and add 30 minute soaked rice.

  7. 7

    Boil them finely.

  8. 8

    Ready to serve it.
