Homemade coconut yoghurt

I like not to only drink coconut water but take benefits out of the rest of coconut as well. That’s how I make coconut milk and then coconut yoghurt at home ☺️

I like not to only drink coconut water but take benefits out of the rest of coconut as well. That’s how I make coconut milk and then coconut yoghurt at home ☺️
Cooking Instructions
- 1
So first let’s start with coconut milk. You need an old coconut with thick pulp (white part). Put 300gr of pulp in blender and add 500ml of water.
- 2
After 3-4 minutes of blendering you’ll get white mixture. Now you need to separate milk from flakes. Use sieve to wring the milk out.
- 3
Finally you’ll get around 500ml of coconut yoghurt and coconut flakes which also have a lot of ways to use
- 4
Take probiotic (instead of it I just buy plain coconut yoghurt in the shop and add 1 tbsp of it into milk). Mix milk with probiotic. Cover it with a paper or a piece of fabric and leave in warm place for 12 hours. If using paper make small holes on it so that yoghurt can breathe.
- 5
After 12 hours cover it with regular cap and put into fridge for 12 hours more or longer. Use your favorite fruits or chocolate to decorate. I used mango and cranberries.

California Farm Dried Probiotic Yoghurt California Farm Dried Probiotic Yoghurt
This method of making and drying greek probiotic yoghurt in your oven prolongs the shelf life of probiotic active bacteria longer than fresh yoghurt in your fridge. When you make your own yoghurt, it is freshest for two weeks. Dried yoghurt stays fresh for a few months in the fridge, longer if kept in the freezer. An 8 ounce cup of fresh greek yoghurt makes 2 ounces yoghurt powder and can be reconstituted in ten minutes to 8 ounces of liquid yoghurt. Great with fruit, cereal and honey for breakfast. California Farm Greek Yoghurt and Bokashi Whey California Farm Greek Yoghurt and Bokashi Whey
Even plain, unflavored greek yoghurts, store bought, have different flavors because they are based on mixes of different live yoghurt cultures. Once you find your favorite one, use it to duplicate that yoghurt at home.Buy a small cup of your favorite plain greek yoghurt, this recipe shows you how to turn that one cup into 6-7 cups of thick, fresh lucious greek yoghurt overnight, and 1-2 cups of “Bokashi Whey” using just two quarts/ liters of full milk. This recipe helps calibrate your baking oven, if you dont have a thermometer, and keeps the milk from scalding the bottom of your dutch oven. Yoghurt keeps fresh for 3 weeks in the fridge.Use the last cup of home made yoghurt to make the next batch. Hobby Horseman -

California Farm Yoghurt Feta Cheese California Farm Yoghurt Feta Cheese
When you make fresh greek yoghurt overnight from half a gallon of full milk and a cup of leftover greek yoghurt, you end up with whey and yoghurt. When you pour off the whey, the yoghurt still has whey in it. Using salt and cheesecloth, twisting the cloth, and draining the mixture another day, the salt removes more whey from the yoghurt till it turns to a delicious fresh cheese that tastes like feta cheese. Reuse the whey. Hobby Horseman
