  1. 1 teaspooninstant yeast
  2. 1 teaspoonsugar
  3. 1 cupwarm water
  4. 2 1/2 cupsflour
  5. 1 tablespoonolive oil
  6. Pinchsalt
  7. Filling:
  8. Labneh
  9. Chopped tomatoes
  10. Finely chopped onion
  11. Dried mint
  12. Salt
  13. Olive oil and za'atar

    Mix the yeast, sugar, and water and let it sit for half an hour.

  2. 2

    Add the remaining ingredients and knead (add the flour gradually depending on the dough's softness).

  3. 3

    Use the dough immediately. Divide the dough and add the labneh mixture, shaping it into pies or sambousek.

  4. 4

    Grease a baking tray with vegetable oil, place the pies on it, and bake.
