Ingredients

  1. Ground beef
  2. Tomato paste
  3. Tomato sauce
  4. 2potatoes
  5. 1large onion
  6. 2 clovesgarlic
  7. Salt
  8. Turmeric
  9. Ginger
  10. Paprika
  11. Bread crumbs
  12. Milk
  13. Black pepper
  14. Cilantro
  15. Parsley
  16. 1egg

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the bread crumbs in a little milk.

    In a bowl, mix the ground beef with the spices, egg, and soaked bread crumbs. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Chop the onion and garlic, and sauté them in the tagine with a splash of oil, salt, and a little parsley and cilantro over low heat until softened.

    In a glass, dilute a tablespoon of tomato paste and a little tomato sauce with some water, and add it to the sautéed mixture with a bit more of the same spices and salt. Add a little more water and bring to a boil.

    With a little oil on your hands, form meatballs and place them in the tagine. Cover with the lid.

    Peel 2 potatoes and cut them into small pieces (I used an air fryer without oil).
